What is the PTO?
The Halifax Elementary School PTO is a group of parents, teachers and administrators who work to bring the school community together, support cultural and academic enrichment, and coordinate special events and fundraisers to benefit the school and it's students.
When does the PTO meet?
HES PTO meets every month in the All Purpose Room at the Halifax Elementary School. Upcoming meeting dates can be found HERE.
How can you help?
There are several ways to help and be a part of the HES PTO. We encourage you to attend the PTO meetings to learn more about upcoming school events, fundraisers, and enrichment programs. We are also always looking for people willing to volunteer their time for events and special programs. HES PTO is a great way to meet new people and become more involved in your child’s school.
The purpose of the HES PTO is to:
1) Foster a cooperative relationship between parents and teachers;
2) Bring together the school community and encourage involvement and interest in the school and its activities;
3) Supplement curriculum through cultural and academic enrichment programs and events; and
4) Plan and carry our special events and/or fundraisers, of which all monies raised will be used to directly benefit the school and students.
